today i'm loving this fabric from marimekko.
the pattern just makes me dream about scandinavia.
soon it will be in our home.. think i'll frame it and hang it above our new cabin in the hallway. can't wait!

marimekko- i always loved their patterns, colors and simplicity.
and now, i found something amazing! the marimekko map of helsinki.
i have to go. now!
about the map:
'this map takes you on a journey through Marimekko’s home town Helsinki, to places where our colourful products bring joy to our friends, customers and passersby. it also takes you to places that have a strong emotional meaning for our designers – from cafés pulsating with urban activity to the nearby islands to enjoy the calm of nature.'
check out the event and activity calender as well.

i love this idea!
the mix 'n match wallpaper by kirath ghundoo
this is how it works:
the user has a choice of seven patterns to create an eclectic feature wall. designed digitally employing a variety of large and small repeats, the patterns can endlessly be displayed within a mixture of combinations or as single strips.
so.. where can i use this?...
