this morning i ran into oliver jeffers.

he makes the most beautiful drawings, maps, paintings.. 

and a world with coffee. 

this is what he did:

'About 14 years ago, I started playing a game with myself where I would make a coffee ring mark on a page and set  about incorporating it somehow into a drawing. I used to have dozens of them, but I lost a bunch in a move somewhere.'
